Personality Nami One Piece

Personality Nami - All about this personality nami in anime one piece

Along with Nico Robin, Nami is one of the smartest of the Straw Hats and the third smartest character in the East Blue according to Oda , the first being Benn Beckman of the Red Hair Pirates and the 2nd being Captain Kuro. At the beginning of the series, Nami despised all pirates. She viewed them as nothing but bad people after losing someone close to her, only changing her mind after she met Luffy. Before her view changed on pirates, she was perfectly fine with giving Luffy up captive to Buggy, as she could not bring herself to stoop to their level. She also dismissed the Devil Fruits as myths until she saw Buggy's Bara Bara no Mi in action.

Personality Nami One Piece
Nami is greedy and will do anything for money, accepting any challenge that comes along. Her love of money stems from her childhood, where she lived a poor life and was often upset at having little wealth despite the love of her adopted mother. While she will send in Luffy and the rest of the crew to meet the demand, the one thing she will not do is sell out a comrade; no matter what the sum. She has several times put her own crewmates in debt over trivial matters (like Luffy for tearing her coat and Zoro for borrowing 100,000 only not to spend it and return it later), her usual charge for repaying the debt being 300% interest, and will often bring up these debts in order to get someone to do something for her. She takes control of the amount of money the crew spends, ever aware of the crews spending habits (such as Luffy's desire to spend all they have on meat) and tries her hardest to avoid it getting spent all at once. To this end, she is in complete horror whenever the rest of the crew wastes money or passes up an opportunity to get it. She is loyal to her money, but no matter how much she denies it, her loyalty to her nakama comes first as seen when she decided to give up her agreed 1,000,000,000 deal with Igaram for protecting Vivi for Vivi's sake after Baroque Works was beaten (although she was upset about it and complained later), as well as willingly giving treasure to Lola and preparing to spend 200,000,000 worth of treasure (which they stole from Thriller Bark) to rescue Keimi from slavery.

Nami is very bossy and is usually ordering everyone around, including Luffy, despite not being the captain herself. Nami's main concern when she is in trouble is herself first and usually has other members do her fighting, resulting in her fighting in fewer fights. She is a coward, though not on the same level as Usopp; her cowardice has more to do with survival. She is aware of dangers they face every day and has a much better understanding of the world and its more dangerous individuals (e.g. the Shichibukai) than most of her crew, though lacks Robin's knowledge on some of its other powerful figures (e.g. the marine admirals) and organizations (e.g. the Yonko).

She can be devilish at times and will not think twice about ditching the others to save her own life.[8] She has been known to stand her ground against anyone hurting her comrades, abandoning her otherwise normal routine of trying to stay out of harm's way. The best example came from her survival of Enel's game which left her as the only fighter standing besides him, she agreed to board his ship and go to his promised land out of fear after seeing all the strong fighters lose the game, but later after hearing his plans that would forsake the sky island, she soon turns on him. After the timeskip Nami seems less violent, such as when Luffy and Zoro nearly broke the coating on the ship it was Usopp and Chopper who scolded them for their reckless behavior and not Nami.

Personality Nami One Piece Drinking
However, in return for her lesser sympathetic personality traits, she is also one of the more compassionate crew members who is fast to show sympathy when hearing sad things about other people, and as she showed during the incident with Hatchan, she is willing to forgive even people who have hurt her for many years. She is easily one of the Straw Hat's most emotional members, she cries easily and she shows much understanding of and insight into feelings. This often makes her good to comfort her friends (though she has also done the opposite to comically effect), as shown during the crew's discussion on about whether Usopp should return or not, she insisted that Usopp should return. Nami also has an obsession with fashion, as she is never seen wearing the same clothes. This was not present in the early chapters and started after the Syrup Village Arc.[13] When Nami goes shopping, she sometimes goes to exquisite boutiques and tries on many things, just to leave stating that she is searching for something more casual. She does not seem to have much modesty as she sometimes wears rather skimpy clothing and allows people to take photos of her wearing very little, such as swimsuits (as long as they pay).
After the two year timeskip, she does not over-react, scold, or hit the crew as often for their rash actions anymore, like when she decides to take part in activities such as demanding money when the crew holds Ryugu Kingdom "hostage". In fact she appears quite calm in the most daunting of situations since the crew reunited, though is still prone to panic in the face of imminent danger (both shown during the descent to Fishman Island). She also has developed a high stamina for drinking during celebrations and can drink as much (or more) than the rest of the crew. In fact, during the two year timeskip she has shown to be able to drink even more than previous.

During the Punk Hazard Arc, Nami is shown to have a soft side for children. When her and the others are fleeing through the Biscuits Room, the giant kids that occupy it ask her to save them. She then stops and adds that she cannot turn her back on crying kids when they are asking to be saved.

Clima Tact In Battle Nami One Piece

Despite the various problems associated with the Clima-Tact.
-
Clima Tact In Battle Nami
Clima Tact  Nami
Nami was able to make use of it and come up with a variety of uses suited for battle. Using her knowledge and some creativity, these combinations often left her opponents in bewilderment.

Clima Tact - Cyclone Tempo
Cyclone Tempo
Cyclone Tempo (サイクロン テンポ Saikuron Tenpo): Nami puts the "Heat Pole" and "Cool Pole" together like an X on the top of the "Electric Pole". She swings it like a bat, and the X detaches from the "Electric Pole" spinning towards her opponent. When the X hits, the hot and cold airs collide and create a massive wind that blows her opponent away. The X will return to Nami like a boomerang. Ironically, Usopp added this function as another party use with no idea of its offensive power. This apparently could also be used with the Perfect Clima-Tact. This is called Cyclone Tempest in the 4Kids dub.

Clima Tact - Mirage Tempo
Mirage Tempo
Mirage Tempo (蜃気楼(ミラージュ)テンポ Mirāju Tenpo): Nami uses the "Cool Ball" in a dry and hot environment to change the air density and create a mirage of herself. The extreme difference in temperature causes major light refraction, allowing Nami to disappear and create an illusionary copy of herself. An upgraded version of this can be used by the Perfect Clima-Tact. This is called Mirage Tempest in the 4Kids dub.

Clima Tact - Thunderbolt Tempo
Thunderbolt Tempo
Thunderbolt Tempo (サンダーボルト テンポ Sandāboruto Tenpo): Nami uses "Cool Ball" to make the air cooler while she uses "Heat Ball" to suck up the moisture. The heated air then rises and collides with the cold air. The air then condenses and creates a cloud. Nami continues to enlarge the cloud by producing more "Heat Balls" and "Cool Balls." Finally, she uses a "Thunder Ball" to electrify the cloud. Soon after, a powerful lightning bolt strikes her opponent. An upgraded version of this can be used by the Perfect Clima-Tact. This is called Cloud Zapper in the 4Kids dub and Thunderbolt Tempest in Grand Battle and Grand Adventure games.

Clima Tact - Tornado Tempo
Tornado Tempo
Tornado Tempo (トルネード テンポ Torunēdo Tenpo): The only function that Usopp apparently installed in the Clima-Tact to be used in battle and not devised by Nami. He explains that this attack can only be used once and should be used only when the situation calls for it. Nami first combines the three pieces together into a T. In a bright flash from each end, two clockwork doves burst out and ensnare her opponent. The T then starts to spin rapidly until it finally shoots the captured enemy with extreme centrifugal force. After that, due to the doves being entagled with the enemy, the technique becomes unusable and the function cannot be used again unless they are reinstalled. This is called Tornado Tempest in the 4Kids dub.

Clima Tact - Fog Tempo
Fog Tempo
Fog Tempo (フォッグ テンポ Foggu Tenpo): Using "Cool Ball" against fire, Nami is able to create a massive fog barrier due to the water vapor in the air increasing in density from the rapidly heating cold air. The fog is used to blind the opponent so that Nami can land an attack on them. This was first seen to blind Hotori.

Clima Tact - Thunderstorm Tempo
Thunderstorm Tempo
Thunderstorm Tempo (サンダーストーム テンポ Sandāsutōmu Tenpo): An anime only technique wherein Nami creates a Thunderstorm with her Clima-Tact. First she creates a cloud by using "Cool Ball" and "Heat Ball". Instead of using a thunderball she adjusts her Clima-Tact into a triangle shape and throw it in the cloud. Lightning will then strike down to attack the enemy, then after a while rain will fall from the clouds. This was first seen being used against Foxy and Porche, to put out a fire started by the two.

Clima Tact in Party of Nami

Clima Tact in of Nami be used on her party or when she will used that for kill the enemy, and when she meet with the lot of enemy the Clima Tact is very helpful to protect her self.

Clima Tact in Party of Nami

Due to a miscommunication, between Nami and Usopp, on the design of the Clima-Tact, Usopp installed the Clima-Tact with functions which he described were to be used in parties for entertainment purposes. The majority of these functions served no other purpose than being parlor magic tricks, making them useless in an actual battle. These, along with some poorly written instructions, created a rather frustrating (and comical), not to mention life-threatening, situation for Nami during her battle with Miss Doublefinger.

Fine Tempo (ファイン テンポ Fain Tenpo): Nami attaches the three Clima-Tact pieces together to form a triangle and then presses a button. Doves magically exit the triangle and flap around. This is called Fine Tempest in the 4Kids adaptation.

Clima Tact Cloudy Tempo
Cloudy Tempo (クラウディ テンポ Kuraudi Tenpo): Nami attaches the three Clima-Tact pieces so that it resembles a rifle. Flowers sprout from the tip when the button is pushed. An apparently less party friendly version of this can be used by the Perfect Clima-Tact. This is called Cloudy Tempest in the 4Kids adaptation.

Clima Tact Thunder Tempo
Thunder Tempo (サンダー テンポ Sandā Tenpo): The three staff pieces are joined together in a Y-shape. Nami then grabs the two "Y'poles" and presses the button. A small boxing glove on a spring bursts out of the single end. This is called Thunder Tempest in the 4Kids adaptation.

Clima Tact Rain Tempo
Rain Tempo (レイン テンポ Rein Tenpo): By pressing certain buttons on each piece, all three of the pieces spout water into the air. Nami then holds a piece in each hand and balances the third on her head. An upgraded form of this move can be used by the Perfect Clima-Tact. This is called Rain Tempest in the 4Kids adaptation.
  • Sprinkler (スプリンクラー Supurinkurā): While the pieces are spouting water during Rain Tempo, Nami spins around to dampen the air. She basically resembles a garden sprinkler when she does this; hence the name.

Basics Clima Tact

Basic clima tact in weapon nami are upgrade.

Basics Clima Tact
Heat (red), Cool (blue), and Thunder (yellow) Balls

Each separate piece of the Clima-Tact is capable of producing a bubble of air. The bubbles produced from each piece have different properties. Though the bubbles alone cannot deal any true damage to the opponents due to their small size and lack of firepower, with certain combinations of these bubbles and Nami's skills in meteorology, Nami is able to simulate different weather patterns to aid her, giving off surprisingly devastating effects.

 Clima Tact Heat Ball
Heat Ball (熱気泡(ヒートボール) Hīto Bōru, literally meaning "Heat Bubble"): Produced from the "Heat Pole" either when air is blown into the end of it or it is shaken, the Heat Ball is a red bubble of heated air that drifts along in the air. It heats up the temperature of the area surrounding it. After the Clima-Tact gets upgraded to the Perfect Clima-Tact, this attack becomes powerful enough to do damage to an opponent in its basic form. It is called Heat Orb in the 4Kids adaptation.

 Clima Tact Cool Ball
Cool Ball (冷気泡(クールボール) Kūru Bōru, literally meaning "Cold Bubble"): Produced from the "Cool Pole" when air is blown into the end of it, the Cool Ball is a blue bubble of cold air that drifts along in the air. It cools down the temperature of the area surrounding it. After the Clima-Tact gets upgraded to the Perfect Clima-Tact, this attack becomes powerful enough to do damage to an opponent in its basic form. It is called Cool Orb in the 4Kids adaptation.

 Clima Tact Thunder Ball
Thunder Ball (電気泡(サンダーボール) Sandā Bōru, literally meaning "Electric Bubble"): Produced from the "Electric Pole" when air is blown into the end of it, the Thunder Ball is a yellow bubble of electrified air that drifts along in the air. It electrifies the air of the area surrounding it. After the Clima-Tact gets upgraded to the Perfect Clima-Tact, this attack becomes powerful enough to do damage to an opponent in its basic form. It is called Thunder Orb in the 4Kids adaptation.

Art of Weather - Clima Tact

The Clima-Tact is the upgraded form of Nami's signature weapon.

Art of Weather - Clima Tact

Created by Usopp, it resembles a bo-staff that can be separated into three pieces, just like Nami's old one. Though resilient enough to withstand the impact from Ms. Doublefinger's attacks, its true power lies in its ability to manipulate the climate. This page lists and details all the various versions of the Clima-Tact as well as the various functions of it that have either been installed by Usopp or devised by Nami's ingenuity that have been revealed in the series.

History
Art of Weather Clima Tact
Introduced when the Straw Hats reached Alubarna, the Clima-Tact is a weapon that resembles Nami's original three piece bo-staff, with the segments made of hollow blue steel. In the manga, a scene depicting Usopp working on it on the title page of Chapter 165 and on the cover of Volume 23, showed it is colored red. In the anime, however, it is depicted colored blue. Despite being shown earlier, the Clima-Tact was first fully used during Nami's battle against Miss Doublefinger.

Art of Weather , Clima Tact
Each piece of the Clima-Tact has a button and is capable of creating a bubble of air each with its own different properties. When the pieces are put together in certain combinations and activated by a button located on a piece connected within the combination, they can produce a variety of different results.

Some of these results are useful in a combat situation, others are completely useless in battle. Each of these are called Tempo which, in Italian and Portuguese, is the word for "weather". In the 4Kids adaptation, the majority of these results are renamed Tempest.
